Program Overview
This program prepares students for a career as a dental aide. This role is crucial in the operation of a dental clinic. The courses will train students in severals aspects of oral healthcare. Students will learn fundamental dental topics such as anatomy, infection control, patient treatment procedures, as well as the elements of a dental practice and oral healthcare team. Once the program is completed, students will have a thorough understanding of a variety of aspects of dentistry. Our Dental Aide program is the first step to entering the dental field.
Career Overview

Dental aides work in dental clinics supporting other staff in the operation of a practice. They perform tasks such as assisting the dentist, operatory infection control, instrument sterilization, as well as administration and reception duties. Most dental aides work in private dental clinics in the treatment area but some also work in administrative and reception roles.
